The event brought together 38 participants, including six members of the DOC Cleaning team, to take on the stair climb at one of London’s most recognisable skyscrapers.
Taking On The Tower 42 Challenge
With 932 steps across 42 floors, the Tower Walk put participants’ stamina to the test while raising funds for MS-UK. Tower 42 is also a valued DOC Cleaning client site, making the challenge an opportunity to support an important cause in a familiar setting.
Representing Team DOC were Sophie O’Shea, Poppy Kirby, Henry Mcbride, Ella McGuinness, Heidi Needham and Nik Prinjha. After a warm-up led by a member of the MS-UK team, our colleagues joined the other participants to begin the climb.
Everyone completed the challenge, with a special mention for Henry, who reached the top in just 7 minutes and 34 seconds. His time made him the fastest non-professional participant of the day.
The event gave colleagues from across the business a chance to come together outside their day-to-day roles, encourage one another and contribute to the team’s fundraising total.
Supporting People Affected By MS
The £1,328 raised by Team DOC will help MS-UK continue providing information, practical guidance and emotional support for people affected by multiple sclerosis.
Through its helpline, peer support, accessible online activities and resources, the charity helps people manage life with MS, make informed choices and feel more connected. Fundraising events such as the Tower Walk help make these services possible.
Thank you to everyone who donated and supported Team DOC, and to MS-UK for organising the event. Well done to Sophie, Poppy, Henry, Ella, Heidi and Nik for taking on the challenge and supporting the charity’s work.
