Celebrating Josie’s new role
Congratulations to Josie Blayney on her promotion to Senior People Advisor. Josie has been a valued member of the team for many years, and her dedication to learning and development have seen her achieve professional qualifications and continue to grow within her role at DOC.
In her new position, Josie will support with complex case work, carry out right to work checks for new starters and assist with employment vetting. Her role will help ensure colleagues and managers continue to receive practical support.
Josie shared:
I’m pleased to be taking on the role of Senior People Advisor after nearly nine years with the company.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some great colleagues, develop my experience, and complete my professional qualifications alongside my role. I’m grateful for the support and encouragement I’ve received throughout that journey.
I’m looking forward to continuing to support our people and the business in this next chapter.
Welcoming our new People Advisor
We have also recently welcomed Ella McGuinness to DOC as People Advisor. Ella will support the People & Culture team and colleagues across the business. Helping to provide advice and guidance as part of the team’s day-to-day work.
Her role will help ensure colleagues and managers continue to receive practical support across a range of People & Culture matters. Ella’s arrival is an important part of the wider changes within the department.

We look forward to welcoming Ella and seeing the experience and enthusiasm she brings to the role.
Bridging Operations and HR
As part of these wider changes, Jose Cavallaro has moved into the People & Culture team. His role remains focused on training and development but bring these areas closer to our wider people strategy.
Isaac has also moved into a new role designed to assist Operations and People & Culture. In this role, Isaac will support with Facility Apps training. He will also be there for new colleagues to get the guidance they need during onboarding at DOC or starting on a new site.
Isaac’s operational experience will be valuable in supporting colleagues practically and ensuring that onboarding is closely aligned with the realities of working on site. Supporting clearer communication for colleagues throughout their DOC journey going forward.
