DOC Cleaning’s Vertical Division

We’re excited to share that DOC Cleaning’s Window Cleaning Division is now fully operational, following its official launch on 1st March 2025.

This marks a significant step forward for the business. By integrating window cleaning into our wider operations, we’re improving response times, strengthening service continuity and driving even greater value across our contracts. The decision to bring this service in-house falls within our wider Beyond Cleaning strategy, helping us maintain consistent standards while also embedding a sustainable, environmentally responsible approach.

While window cleaning has long been part of our offering, it was previously delivered through service partners. This launch follows increased demand for tailored cleaning solutions in the commercial cleaning sector, where regulations, hygiene standards, and operating conditions require a nuanced and specialist approach.

The establishment of this division aligns with our mission of delivering premium cleaning solutions while optimising efficiency and client communication. By bringing window cleaning services in-house, we can offer our clients greater transparency through real-time reporting and enhanced quality assurance — all managed through a single point of contact.

Gareth Thomas, Managing Director of DOC’s Vertical Division, commented:

What’s Next?

The division officially launched on 1st March 2025 and will be rolled out in phases over six months. Our initial focus will be London and the South West, before expanding into the Midlands and other prominent locations across the UK. Specialist teams will include static window cleaners, abseiling operatives and mobile units, ensuring we can meet the needs of a diverse range of buildings and environments.

This development reflects our broader strategy and ongoing investment in service excellence, strengthening our position in key verticals while championing innovation, sustainability and workforce development across the cleaning industry.
