Role description

Martinho is a key member of the on site team at The Walbrook. His role focuses on ensuring high levels of cleanliness and the correct handling of waste, supporting sustainability targets and contributing to the overall environmental performance of the building.

Experience:

Martinho has been part of the team at The Walbrook since 2018, bringing consistency, care and professionalism to his role. Over time, he has developed a strong understanding of waste processes and site requirements, becoming a trusted and reliable presence within the team.

Achievements:

Martinho has made a significant contribution to the building’s recycling performance, helping The Walbrook achieve an impressive recycling rate of 86%. His attention to detail and commitment to correct waste segregation play a key role in maintaining this standard. His efforts have been recognised through his nomination for Individual Waste Warrior of the Year, highlighting the positive impact he continues to make.

We operate a robust training and staff engagement system which utilises the power of innovative platforms, such as UhUb, to deliver a wide range of training content. Our operatives can access our training modules from the comfort of their mobile devices.

Combined with our in-house training sessions, we use UhUb to engage our entire workforce. We also offer BICSc and IOSH training at our accredited training centre in London.
