Delivering Greater Visibility & Control At Moor House With PEGO

Managing cleaning activity across large, multi-tenant commercial buildings requires clear oversight, accurate planning and confidence that work is completed as intended.

In early 2025, DOC Cleaning introduced PEGO, our digital task management and planning system, at Moor House, a large multi-tenant commercial building in the City of London.

The live contract environment provided an ideal setting to trial PEGO’s capabilities across both internal cleaning and specialist façade operations. The objective was to improve planning, visibility and service assurance within a complex, high-footfall site while supporting more informed decision making for site management and stakeholders.

By placing PEGO at the heart of service delivery at Moor House, we’ve created a more transparent, data-led approach to managing day-to-day cleaning activity and vertical cleaning programmes within a demanding commercial environment.

Moor House

Moor House is a prominent commercial building in the City of London, accommodating multiple tenants and a combination of internal and external cleaning requirements. Like many large urban commercial sites, it experiences varied occupancy patterns and sustained daily footfall, alongside the need for periodic high-level and façade cleaning.

Managing these demands requires clear oversight, accurate task tracking and confidence that work is completed as planned. Moor House provided a live operational environment to test how digital tools could support greater consistency, accountability and efficiency across cleaning teams.

Supporting complex commercial environments

We manage cleaning contracts across a growing portfolio of large and complex commercial sites in London, including Moor House. As our portfolio has expanded, traditional supervision and reporting methods have made it more difficult to maintain real-time oversight, reallocate resources during shifts and consistently evidence completed work.

This is particularly relevant in façade and vertical cleaning, where access methods, sequencing and service verification add further complexity. Alongside this, the launch of our in-house window and façade cleaning division increased the importance of having consistent planning, digital controls and verification processes in place across both internal and external services.

These factors reinforced the need for a single digital platform capable of supporting clearer planning, improved visibility and stronger service assurance within live contract environments.

Introducing PEGO at Moor House

We introduced PEGO at Moor House as a dual-purpose platform supporting both internal floor cleaning and external window and façade cleaning activity.

For internal cleaning, PEGO enables us to digitise floor plans and assign tasks by zone or room. Cleaning activity is tracked in real time through mobile devices, giving supervisors and site management clear visibility of what has been cleaned, when it was completed and by whom. This supports more informed decision making during shifts and allows us to identify unproductive periods or reallocate tasks as needed.

For external cleaning, we record each drop line or section of façade within the platform during the survey and planning stage. PEGO schedules cleaning activity at agreed intervals and enables operatives to upload before-and-after imagery and access notes as work is completed. This creates a clear digital record of delivery and allows both internal teams and stakeholders to monitor vertical cleaning activity remotely.

At Moor House, we used PEGO as a single platform to support closer alignment between teams, provide clearer oversight for site management and deliver more consistent verification of completed work.

Managing internal cleaning activity

For internal cleaning, PEGO enables us to digitise floor plans and assign tasks by zone or room. Cleaning activity is tracked in real time through mobile devices, giving supervisors and site management clear visibility of what has been cleaned, when it was completed and by whom.

This real-time insight supports more informed decision making during shifts and allows us to identify unproductive periods, reallocate tasks and maintain consistent standards across all occupied areas of the building.

Planning and verifying façade cleaning

For external cleaning, we record each drop line or section of façade within PEGO during the survey and planning stage. Cleaning activity is scheduled at agreed intervals, with operatives uploading before-and-after imagery and access notes as work is completed.

This creates a clear digital record of delivery and allows vertical cleaning activity to be monitored remotely. Digital tracking improves crew planning, removes the risk of missed sections and supports safer, more efficient façade operations.

Improving visibility and operational control

Across both internal and external services, PEGO has reduced the need for manual oversight and helped prevent duplication of tasks. By tracking performance zone by zone, we can identify inefficiencies and rapidly redeploy resources, increasing output during standard hours without increasing costs.

All completed tasks are logged with time stamps and photographic evidence, giving us and our clients a clear visual record of service delivery. This information integrates into our bespoke DOC Engage platform to support contract reporting and ESG requirements.

For vertical cleaning, access notes, risk assessments and operative logs are stored within the platform, helping ensure work is completed in line with agreed safety procedures and statutory requirements. Pre-mapped digital schedules mean crews arrive fully briefed, while real-time visibility allows us to reallocate tasks during a shift and maximise output across all zones.

Supporting our people through performance visibility

At Moor House, PEGO also supports our people-led approach through our performance-linked incentive scheme, Merit.

Merit uses live operational data already captured within PEGO, such as task completion and photo audit compliance, to link rewards directly to individual performance. This removes subjectivity and ensures rewards are tied to measurable activity rather than opinion.

Supervisors review performance data and supporting photo evidence through a central dashboard before approving scores, ensuring a consistent and transparent approach with a clear audit trail. Operatives can access Merit through the PEGO app, allowing them to view their performance scores and understand how day-to-day actions contribute to recognition and rewards.

Building on the success at Moor House

Following its successful implementation at Moor House, PEGO has become a core component of our service delivery model. Its dual application across internal and external cleaning provides consistent oversight, whether we are managing daily cleaning activity or complex façade operations.

Building on its use within live contracts, we are continuing to refine PEGO and will roll the platform out across additional sites throughout 2026 as part of our long-term approach to smarter, more accountable service delivery.
