Welcome to DOC Life, Volume 11 – our quarterly update on everything happening across the organisation. This edition focuses on October to December 2025, whilst reflecting on 2025 and looking ahead to 2026.
Newsletter Highlights
Here are some of our highlights from the latest edition of DOC Life:
Leadership Reflection
Our Joint Managing Director, Lee Andrews, began DOC Life, Volume 11 with a reflection on 2025.
Looking back at 2025, I feel genuinely proud of what we’ve achieved together as a business. The year began with Jamie and I stepping into our roles as Joint Managing Directors. It was a big moment, and one we approached with a lot of care.
With my father, Lee, and my uncle, Danny, moving into Chairman roles, their experience and values continue to provide important guidance as we take DOC forward together, building on the path they set and one we have both been part of for almost two decades.
Beyond Cleaning Awards
Tuesday 21st October marked our second Beyond Cleaning Awards, this time held at Crypt on the Green in Farringdon, where more than 100 members of our team gathered alongside a selection of our key supply partners to celebrate the people behind our business.
The day began with a supplier showcase, providing an opportunity for our teams to ask questions, see demonstrations and get to know some of our most trusted suppliers, including Simply Washrooms, Facility Apps, SMI, Bunzl Cleaning and Hygiene Supplies, Wessex and First Mile.
Followed by this, Gareth Thomas, Managing Director of our Vertical Division, was invited to the stage to share an update on developments across our newly launched window cleaning division which was introduced earlier this year. Where the focus then shifted to the year ahead as Lee and Jamie announced the company vision for 2026 and our new values centred around building trust, taking pride, welcoming challenges and empowering our people.
Congratulations to:

Thank Your Cleaner Day
In October we celebrated Thank Your Cleaner Day, a movement to recognise the people who keep our spaces spotless, safe and welcoming. Our management team visited a number of sites to say thank you to those who make an impact behind the scenes and take pride in maintaining some of the UK’s most prestigious buildings.
We started by shining a light on Operations Manager Jose Megino and his fantastic team based at one of our landmark sites in central London. We also highlighted the efforts of Thais, Telma and the rest of our team in Guildford whose commitment and teamwork make a real difference every day at one of our corporate sites.
Operations Manager, Tom Harper shared:
Thais and Telma are a dream to work with. This is often reflected in praise received by the Front of House teams at their sites. Quality audits have been at an all-time high since the duo took over, and they just keep getting better! Keep up the great work, Thais and Telma! Thanks again for all your hard work and support.
CSSA Economic Outlook
In November, members of our team joined industry peers at the Cleaning & Support Services Association (CSSA) Economic Outlook. The event brought together business leaders, economists and emerging professionals from across the cleaning and facilities management sector, with Lee Andrews, Joint Managing Director, Jane Malone, our Director of People and Culture, and Sophie O’Shea, Head of Marketing, representing DOC Cleaning.
We’d like to thank the CSSA for hosting another excellent event and to recognise everyone who contributed to the panels and presentations. We look forward to continuing these conversations as we play our part in driving progress across the cleaning and facilities management sector.
Looking Ahead
Our Joint Managing Director, Jamie Bull, wrapped DOC Life, Volume 11 with a outlook into 2026.
As we move into 2026, we do so from a position of strength, underpinned by a solid financial performance and a clear focus on what lies ahead. The year in front of us will be about building on strong foundations and continuing to deliver consistently for our clients, while making thoughtful decisions that support long-term growth.
With strong financial foundations, committed teams, and a clear sense of momentum, 2026 presents a real opportunity to continue building the business in the right way. By supporting our people, delivering for our clients, and investing carefully in the future, we are well placed to strengthen DOC and create lasting value for all stakeholders.
