Newsletter Highlights
Here are some of our highlights from the latest edition of DOC Life:
Remembering Lynda
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our dear colleague, Lynda Thatcher, following a long and courageous battle with illness.
Lynda was a valued member of the DOC team for many years, and her warmth, dedication, and relentless love for Tottenham Hotspur touched everyone who had the pleasure of working with her.
We will fondly remember her for her kindness and positive spirit. Lynda’s contribution to DOC and the friendships she built along the way leave a lasting legacy.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

We’re delighted to celebrate the achievements of our recent Beyond Cleaning award winners. Each individual has shown exceptional dedication and embodiment of the spirit of DOC Cleaning.

Planet Mark Re-accreditation: Our Seventh Year
We are pleased to confirm that DOC Cleaning has achieved Planet Mark Certification for the reporting period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. This is our seventh year in succession. The certification reflects our long-standing commitment to sustainability, accountability and creating positive impact.
Planet Mark has become a trusted partner within our Beyond Cleaning strategy, helping us measure our performance, set clear objectives and ensure that sustainability runs through every part of our operations. Planet Mark certification provides a clear framework for accountability and improvement. Each year we work with their team to review our performance, expand the boundaries of our reporting, and ensure data accuracy.
SMI Award: Recognition for Sustainability Award
DOC Cleaning proudly received SMI’s Recognition for Sustainability Award.
The ceremony took place during SMI’s inaugural ESG Exhibition on 4th September at BMA House in London. The award reflects our ongoing commitment to embedding sustainability at the heart of our business and showcases the power of collaboration in driving lasting impact.
SMI created the ESG Exhibition as a new platform for customers, suppliers and partners. It brought people together to share ideas, celebrate achievements and drive progress in the sustainability space. The event highlighted organisations taking real, measurable steps toward positive change. It also offered the chance to learn from one another’s journeys.
