We’re proud to share that Abby Dodd, our Accounts Manager, is embarking on an incredible 5-day trek across the Isle of Skye in support of CoppaFeel!
Abby’s Story
Our Accounts Manager, Abby Dodd, has been part of the DOC family since January 2017. At just 30, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, Abby made a full recovery, and she’s now determined to give back by raising awareness and ensuring more people across the UK recognise the early signs of breast cancer.
CoppaFeel! is a cause especially close to Abby’s heart, given her own experience. Determined to make a difference, she has committed to a 5-day trek across the Isle of Skye to support their mission.
In preparation for the trek, Abby began training in ealry February and will also be organising several small fundraising initiatives, including:
- ‘Lottertitty’ – CoppaFeel! Lottery
- Charity Quiz Night
- Darts Tournament
About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! is a breast cancer awareness charity founded in 2009, dedicated to promoting early detection. Their mission is to empower young people – particularly women under 30 – to check their breasts regularly at the start of each month.
Through various initiatives, CoppaFeel! works to educate and raise awareness about the importance of early detection. With breast cancer affecting around 55,000 women and 400 men in the UK every year, their work is more vital than ever.
