The British Institute of Cleaning Science

Our company are corporate members of The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and as such abides by its code of practice.

The British Institute is an independent professional body that promotes status, recognition and prestige for our industry and membership involves our company’s inclusion in pursuit of this objective.

The path that the institute, and its members including us, has chosen to achieve these objectives is through the use of Education and Training and the subsequent result of the raising of standards within our industry. Our company is thoroughly committed to this strategy and is actively involved in the on-going development and implementation of the institutes aims and objectives.

All of our staff is trained under the BICSc initiated Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Scheme (COPC) which defines specific activities and methods and to which employees must achieve pass marks to tests carried out. Supervisors undertake the BICSc Cleaning Supervisors Skills Certificate (CSSC) in addition to the COPC training.

Managers and supervisors frequently attend BICSc seminars and training courses relating to such matters as Health & Safety, specialised tasks and associated skills and techniques.

Our directors and managers are all individual members of the Institute and they ensure that all guidelines and directives are implemented and adhered to.
